Shannon Walker RN
Shannon Walker, RN, BSN, has over 20 years of experience in the medical field with a wide range of experiences that began in 1991 volunteering as a candy stripper at Fort Bliss Army Hospital in El Paso, TX. Upon graduation from high school and attending college at XXXXXX, Shannon served her country as a member of the United States Air Force. Shannon began her military career as a Emergency Medical Technician, before progressing to a Licensed Practical Nurse. Shannon is a combat veteran having served her country abroad as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
After honorably leaving the military with multiple accommodations, Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2011. Since that time Shannon has a variety of experiences in the nursing field. Her vast flexibility includes but is not limited to experience Behavior Health, Geriatrics, Medical-Surgical, Pediatric, Rehabilitation, Telephone Triage, Wound Care and Sub Acute care.
Certified in ACLS, PALS, CPI, CPR and First Aid, Shannon has continued her experience as a Diabetic Educator and managed a Pediatric Synagis Clinic. Shannon is a mother of 5, a community organizer and an active volunteer in both Arizona and Texas. While in the military Shannon was an active member of Airman Against Drunk Driving and currently volunteers with Toys for Tots, Tucson Youth Football and Spirit Federation well as the American Red Cross. She enjoys scrap booking and the occasional fun run.
Jason Peller Chef
Jason-Michael Peller, began his passion for cooking while deployed in Seoul Korea. Once he completed his obligation to the United States Army, he obtained his Culinary Degree from Le Cordon Bleu. Since then Jason-Michael has been an Executive Sous Chef for the Omni, Hilton, The Westin, and is currently working for the Ritz Carlton. Jason will be working closely with our Registered Dietitian to create meal plans that will comply with our patients dietary needs.
Scott Jackson, PT, DPT, Cert DN, Cert SMT
Dr. Jackson earned his B.S. in Physical Therapy with a minor in psychological sciences in 2005 where he went on and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in 2008. He graduated Cum Laude with honors from UND School of Medicine. He later finished his residency program in 2011 through EIM Regis University with a specialization in spinal manipulation and orthopedic pain management. He is certified in dry needling and spinal manipulative therapy through the American Acedemy of Manipulative Therapy. He is currently working towards the degree of Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Dr. Jackson's passion is demonstrated by his commitment to his patients. He believe there needs to be a solid relationship between education, communication, and reaching understrandings of patient's goals and expectations of care. He is motivated by celebrating the successes of his patients ast they progress in their individualized therapeutic plans as it transfers into everyday life. He has strong feelings about how he can acheive the best outcomes with his patients with the most advanced clinical approaches. He received the "Raving Customer" award for 2014 as the Director of outpatient care.
